(Nee Sberna) Born to Eternal Life on August 15, 2015, at age 54. Loving Mom of Michael and Justin. Beloved daughter of Giuseppe and the late Anna Sberna. Also survived by the father of her children, Steven, and other family and friends. She was a proud alumnus of Marquette University, where she graduated with honors. Carmela was Director of Core Lab at Dynacare Laboratories, where she worked for more than 25 years. She loved traveling and seeing beautiful sunsets on the water. Her most treasured accomplishment was being a mother. She was proud of and dedicated to her children, as well as a strong, smart, and supportive parent.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, August 21, from 4-645PM. Vigil at 7PM. Additional Visitation at HOLY APOSTLES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 16000 W. National Ave., on Saturday at 9:30AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
