Carl W. Grueninger

Age 88. Peacefully entered Heaven on Saturday, October 1, 2011. Beloved husband of Arlene (Nee Markgraf) for 64 years. Loving father of Wesley (Betsy) Grueninger. Proud grandfather of Stacy and Wesley Aaron. Adoring great-grandfather of Wesley Daniel and Georgianna. Brother of Ruth Bantin. Carl is survived by many other relatives and friends.Born in Reutlingen, Germany, Carl moved to Milwaukee with his family in 1930. He served in the US Army overseas in WWII. He owned and operated Burnham Auto Sales and Burnham Auto Salvage for over 50 years. Carl enjoyed traveling and he liked watching sports of every kind. He was devoted to his family, and he loved his Lord.Visitation at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 5, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. A private service for the family will be followed by a private burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
