Krueger, Carl F. Born into Eternal Life on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at age 76, surrounded by loved ones in his home after a long-term battle with frontal temporal degeneration (FTD). Loving husband of Charlene for 56 years. Beloved father of Diane Krueger, Deborah Kuether, and Jonathan (Melissa) Krueger. Cherished grandfather of Nicole and Paul Ausavich, Ella and Aidan Kuether, Michael (Brianna), Jay, and Kya Krueger. Adored great-grandfather of Liam, Arielle, and Wyatt Robinson and Nayomi and Violet LeClaire. Treasured brother to Kathy McComas (John), Nancy Reszczynski, Susan Konzal (Daryl), Daniel Krueger (Kathy), Kenneth Krueger (Bobbi Konzal), Linda Krueger, and Steven Krueger (Sue Steffan). Also loved by in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends. Preceded in death by his parents Louis and Marie Krueger, and his sister Nancy Reszczynski.

Born in Milwaukee, Carl attended and graduated from Custer High School where he met his future wife, Charlene. After graduation, the high school sweethearts were married in 1968. Carl went on to serve in the US Army where he achieved the rank of Second Lieutenant. Upon completion of his service, they welcomed their first child, Diane. Carl started his career in insurance and went on to build his first company Chateau Custom Homes, Inc. Carl’s family continued to grow, as did his business ventures, and in 1996, Carl Krueger Construction was established.

Carl’s commitment to public service never wavered. Carl contributed to the community all throughout his career, first as Village Trustee and later as President of Brown Deer. He served as Commissioner on the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewer District Board and was a member of the North Shore Fire and Police Board of Directors. Carl served on many community groups as an advisor, committee leader, and volunteered at countless events.

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Funeral Service directly following at 4:00 PM.
