Entered God’s loving arms on October 18, 2016, at the age of 57.

Loving husband of Sherrie (nee King) Block. Devoted father of Shellie Kruschke and Sean (Stacy) Kruschke. Proud grandfather of Darren (DJ) Block, Mariah and Justice Kruschke, and the late Brady Block. Dear brother of Charles “Chucky” (Rande) Block. Beloved brother-in-law of Terry (Laura) King, Clark (Lorilei) King, and the late Darryl King, and the late Raenae (the late Richard) Ostrowiecki. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and his spoiled dog Buster.

Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, on Friday October 21, 2016 from 4:00 PM – 6:45 PM. Memorial service at 7:00 PM. Private burial at Highland Memorial Park. Memorials are appreciated to the family.

Brian proudly volunteered as a youth soccer coach for over a decade for both Club and Catholic leagues. He was a beloved mentor and teacher for the kids he coached. He worked for 26 years for the City of West Allis. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and staying active. Brian was a loving husband, generous father, grandfather, a great friend to many, and a prankster to all.

Brian was an easy to work with, meticulous, conscientious, fair, and understanding person to work with. I have worked with Brian for 24 years and he has always proved he is an outstanding individual as he dealt with internal City personnel, as well as all outside contacts that he dealt with to provide West Allis residents with the best service possible. He always provided the information needed to help our residents and work staff come to a positive solution to their issues.
