Beverly Anita Campbell

(nee Evans) Born to James and Anita Evans January 20, 1921. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at age 100. Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Campbell, brother, Robert Evans and her parents. Loving mother of Bobbie (the late John) Siewert. Proud and cherished grandma of Jeannine (Norman) Klein and Eric (Kathy) Siewert. Dear great-grandma of Brenden (Riley), Kellen, Shaylyn (Robert), Danielle and Tyler. Further survived by other relatives.

A private family memorial service will be held in January.

Beverly was one of the first School Crossing Guards beginning in 1950 retiring in 2000. She enjoyed 50 years of helping generations of students at Brown and Townsend Street Schools. In 1995, Milwaukee Mayor declared June 6th “Beverly Campbell Day” with a framed Proclamation from the City. Beverly always took a true interest in the children she met and their lives. She was a friend to all and loved by everyone.
