In Loving Memory of Beverly A. Kucik
With heavy hearts, yet with faith and gratitude for God’s promise of eternal life, we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Beverly (Bev) Ann Kucik (née Lambert), who was called home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2026. She was the heart of our family, a woman of quiet strength, and a living example of love, grace, and faith.
Bev was born on May 18, 1945 to William and Norine Lambert in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin. The oldest of three children in a close-knit family, Bev grew up in Oconto Falls. Her love of music started early as a majorette and clarinet player in the high school band. She met the love of her life, Don, in high school. Bev and Don, married on April 11, 1964 and moved to Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Together they built a loving life for 61 years and shared many wonderful memories. Bev raised her family while working as a beautician and loyal M&I Bank employee.
Bev’s greatest blessings were her two daughters, Kim and Lynn, and her two cherished grandsons, Kyle and Eric. As a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she gave selflessly and loved unconditionally. Her life reflected her faith—through kindness shown to others, prayers whispered for her family, and a steadfast trust in God’s plan. She taught her children and grandchildren not only how to live, but how to love, serve, and believe in the Lord.
Her family brought her endless joy and happiness. She delighted in watching them grow, praying over them, and sharing in their laughter. She was always on the sidelines watching her grandsons play soccer, basketball and baseball and running cross country and track. Her love for them was deep and unwavering, and they will forever carry her warmth and wisdom in their hearts.
She found beauty in simple blessings—time spent with loved ones, meaningful conversations, and moments of quiet reflection. Her home was a place of welcome and peace, where faith and love lived side by side. She loved reading (we lost count of how many books she has read), her dogs – Brandy, Angel and Bailey – listening to music and traveling (especially to Door County).
Bev is survived by her loving husband, Don, daughters, Kim McAinsh and Lynn Turba, grandsons, Kyle Turba and Eric Turba, sons-in-laws, John McAinsh and Craig Turba. sister, Nancy Truss, brother-in-law, Paul Truss and many nieces and nephews and friends who were blessed to know her. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Norine Lambert, brother, Jimmy Lambert and her mother and father-in-law, George and Nettie Kucik.
While we mourn her loss, we rejoice that she now rests in God’s eternal embrace, reunited with loved ones who went before her.
Her gentle spirit, warm smile and obvious love for other people earned her many friends. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will live on in the many lives that she touched.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the sympathy, comforting words, prayers and kindness shown.
Bev will be forever missed and remembered.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM with a service to follow at 4:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin. Private Interment will be held at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Oconto Falls.
