Bethani “Beth” Elizabeth Genett passed away on April 10, 2023 at age 27.
Loving daughter of David (Linda) Genett and Gina (Scott Metz). Cherished granddaughter of the late Dale and Dorthy Genett, the late Cheryl Metz (Michael), and Thomas and Melody Wagner. Also loved by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Bethani was preceded in death by her grandparents Dale and Dorthy Genett, as well as her sister Kailey Axton Genett.
Bethani was born to David and Gina (Wagner) Genett on February 14, 1996 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During her academic pursuits at New Berlin West High School she became a CNA. She worked at ProHealthcare assisted living as a trainer and working in the kitchen as a server where she received the resident-voted annual honors Sparks award. She then went on to study nursing at Bryant and Stratton University graduating with an Associates Degree where she received honors Magna Cum Laude. She then passed her NCLEX becoming a multistate practitioner.
Bethani was a people person always ready to give hugs and made friends easily. She loved attending concerts and music festivals. Bethani loved music and was a great dancer. She was an animal lover who had many pets over the years. She even fed stray cats and wild turkeys. Bethani was always concerned about everyone else and was quick to help when she could. She was dedicated to her family, friends, and patients. Bethani was always ready to defend those she loved. She was honest and researched information making sure of its accuracy. Bethani was a great cook and always gave us a photo opportunity we could share on facebook.
She touched and changed so many lives for the better. Bethani will never be forgotten and will live on in our thoughts and memories.
Funeral services to be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin at 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 16, 2023. Visitation from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Service at 4:00 PM. To allow for fellowship with family and friends, appetizers will be served immediately after.
Internment will be at Pine Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 10700 Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Monday April 17th at 10:00 AM – all are welcomed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory be made to your local woman’s health, domestic violence shelter, or Cornerstone UPI, Waupun, WI.
