Passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2014. Age 74. Devoted wife of Marvin. Loving mother of Renee (Lee) Newman and the Late Rhonda (Andrew) Katzke. Cherished nana of Andrew and Michael Newman and Matthew Katzke. Caring sister of Maryann Kaczor, Stanley (Diane) Kaczor, Mae (Mike) Muehl, Dean Kaczor, John Kaczor and Jan (Mark) Dasko. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 17, 2014 at the FUNERAL HOME, 9000 West Capitol Drive, from 6:00-8:00 PM and Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 9:00-10:00 AM. Funeral service to begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the FUNERAL HOME. Burial at Graceland Cemetery, Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Anne's Salvatorian Campus.

Bernadette worked at Woolworth's Accounting Office, Medical College of Wisconsin and volunteered at Community Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed gardening and cooking dinners with family. Her cooking landed her several blue ribbons from the State Fair.
