Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 3, 2017, at age 67. Loving wife of Kenneth for 46 years. Beautiful mother of Kelly (Peter) Thompson and Kerry (Matthew) Johnson. Doting grandmother of Ruby and Lucy Thompson, and Connor and Kendall Johnson. She also will be missed by many friends.

Barb put everyone else ahead of herself, always with a smile on her face. She was an entrepreneur, mayoral candidate, library activist, card shark, and a bright light to everyone who knew her.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Monday, April 10, 2017, at 4:00 PM-7:00 PM. Service at 7:00 PM. Internment will follow on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at 11:00 AM, at The Gardens of Stone Bank cemetery,  located on the corner of Hwy K and Shore Drive in Hartland, Wisconsin 53029.

I have many great memories of Barb, every month she would come in and have her hair done and talk about her lovely family and great friends she had, I felt I knew all of them from hearing about them for years. The one I love the best was she came to Las Vegas with me and I took her to a great show and dinner event and the smile on her face was priceless! we had a wonderful time. She was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.
