She was born September 2, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Henrietta and Orville Marcott. Barbara graduated from Brookfield High School and went to work for the Wisconsin Telephone Company. On May 23, 1964, she married Gerald Kloehn and they settled in New Berlin.
Barbara loved square dancing, and she and Jerry danced for many years, went on square dance weekend getaways, and attended conventions all over the country. They also enjoyed vacations camping in northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. She was a writer, wrote many fun-loving Christmas newsletters, and had a story published in a national magazine. Barbara loved cooking and read cookbooks like some women read romance novels. She inherited her dry sense of humor from her dad.
She was loving and loved greatly.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, brother Paul, other relatives, and many friends.
