Died peacefully on Monday, November 2, 2015 at age 81. Devoted husband of Rose Marie (Nee Schaefer). Dear father of Gregg, Bryan, Kristine (Mike) and Michael Paul. Grandfather of Nicholas, Ben, Colin, Connor and Mara. Brother of Donald and Reta. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Arnold attended North Division High School in Milwaukee and then proudly served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He then began a business career which included term as a field engineer with General Motors Aeronautics division in London, England, where he married Rose Marie while working on the Thor Missile Program. He returned to raise a family in Milwaukee where he founded a series of entrepreneurial real estate and investment businesses. Arnie served on several boards, including the Milwaukee Art Museum and was a long time member of North Hills C.C.
Arnie carried a positive and joyful attitude throughout his life. He was a life-long Green Bay Packer fan and a Block of Granite Member the of Vince Lombardi Cancer Research Fund, a committed and devoted husband, father, all around family man and a mentor to many.
Visitation will be at St. Dominic Catholic Church 18255 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI, on Saturday, November 7, from 10-11:45AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 12PM. Private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to St. Ben's Community Meal Program, 1015 North 9th Street, Milwaukee or to St. Dominic Memorial Prayer Garden.
