Born to eternal life on Saturday, February 11, 2012. Loving father of Diana (Ward) Harold, Armand, Linda (Matthew) Waddell. Proud grandfather of Matthew Harold, Aaron Harold, Kelly Rose Harold; Becky, Cristina and Isabel Waddell, Heather Beth Waddell and Caleb Waddell. Dear brother of Betty (the late Glen) Young, Maria (the late Manuel) Coral, and Leonico (the late Gladys). Also remembered by other relatives and friends including niece Maria (Aaron) Samples, nephews Don Raymond, Robert (Laurie) Luna, Jose (Doris) Coral. Preceded in death by his wife, Viola, his parents; Elisa and Saturnino, two sisters, Rosita and Elena, his son, David, and parent sponsors in the United States, Mr. and Mrs. Sorenson. He served in the Peruvian Air Force. He came to the United States when he was 22 (and spoke no English), earned his degree in engineering, worked as an electrical engineer at Boeing and McDonnell Douglas, and later taught at Marquette University. He brought his mother and siblings to the United States. He was also a licensed ham radio operator and set up his own 40 foot radio tower at several homes. At one time, he aided Peru in rescue operations during an earthquake using his ham radio.Visitation at the Funeral Home, Tuesday, February 14 from 4:00"5:45 PM.
