Antonio Carmelo Patti, was born to Eternal Life on October 27, 2013 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Tony, a lifelong resident of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was a devout Catholic and a beloved, ever-loyal family man. All who knew Tony, from his early years to his final days, loved and respected him as a kind and gentle soul. He will be dearly missed.
He was born on October 14, 1938, the son of the late Carmelo and Anna (nee Casella) Patti. He grew up in the Italian Third Ward and attended St. John's Cathedral School. He honorably served his country in the US Army from 1959-1963 and was deployed overseas in Nancy, France. After his service discharge, Tony returned to Milwaukee to help support his family. While bartending for his uncle at Patti's Bar, Tony met his "budgie," Jean (nee Regan) and they married in 1971. Through the years, Tony worked tirelessly to support his family, sometimes juggling multiple jobs at one time. He was ever-devoted and committed to his family's well-being. Tony was employed by the City of Milwaukee before retiring in 2011. He was recently honored with a special proclamation from Mayor Tom Barrett for his years of dedicated service to the City of Milwaukee.
Antonio was predeceased by his cherished mother, Anna (nee Casella), father, Carmelo, and sister, Rose. Antonio is survived by his beloved wife and partner of 42 years, Jean. He was treasured by his four children, Angela (Kevin Banasik), Carmelo (Michelle), Gina Aiello (Carl), and Antonio Patti. He was an adored Nonno and took great pride in his 11 grandchildren, Kevin, Grace, Ava Banasik, Amy Rostankowski, Carmelo, Madisen, Vincent, Dominic Patti, Carl, Sophia, Gianna Aiello. Near to his heart remain his sisters, Santa Rawlings, Mary Grace Tetzlaff, and Josephine (Bernard) Marcell. Also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
