Died peacefully on Saturday, September 22, 2018, age 63. Loving pops of Tony (Maggie), Josh (Krissy) and Joseph Russell. Devoted son of Pearl. Brother of Gerald Chatman and Yolanda “Cookie” (LaDell Moore.) Proud grandpa of Junior, Tyler, Lexi and Paige. Former wife and loving friend, Joanne Wetstein. Sad to see that Tony passed away. We were good friends back in high school. (Marshal) Hanging out, cruising at the lake front. His mom was tolerate with Pete, Kathy, Diana and I hanging out upstairs. Kept us from being out late and avoiding stupidness.
We l listened to music from 8 tracts and played pool. I remember his mom's lite green Cougar that she let him drive once in a while. Tony had a lot of good common sense, was always respectful when he used her car. Sad we lose track of old friends until you happen to Google them and find that they passed away. Tony was my co-worker/friend always a smile on his face, he was a person whom did not show his anger. We were Tony’s family in the DA’s Office we just learned about his passing yesterday. To his family you are in my prayers.

I am sorry to hear of Tony's passing. I worked with Tony for a number of years in the district attorney's office. No matter the day Tony always had a smile and a chuckle. He had one of the toughest jobs in the office dealing with angry frustrated and impatient people. Yet all the years I worked with him I never saw him lose his temper. He did that job longer and better than anyone. He was a pleasure to be around whether at work or out socializing. May your fond memories of Tony give you comfort in difficult times like this.
