Anthony J. Makovec “Tony”

Found peace July 9, 2011, age 88. Beloved husband of Mercedes K. Geres and the late Lena "Margaret" (Nee Inman). Father of Anthony (Barbara) Makovec, Jr., Michael (Sharon) Makovec, the late Jeffrey Makovec, Stephen (Fred Pieper) Makovec and Linda Clark. Also loved by his grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, great-great- grandchildren, Mercedes' children, other relatives and friends.Tony was a WWII veteran, serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and a resident of Village at Manor Park. Tony was a poet and a singer.Gathering at the Funeral Home, Saturday, July 16, 11:00-12:00 Noon.
