Anna M. Henkel

"Ann" (Nee Zelhofer) Went Home to the Lord on Sunday July 19, 2009, age 99. Beloved wife of the late Raymond. Loving mother of Jack (Kathie) Henkel, the late Jim (Susie) Henkel, the late Mary (Dennis) Ryan and Carol (Russ) Luther. Dear sister of Frances Rusch. Preceded in death by her grandson Bobby Henkel. Also loved by 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Anna loved and lived for her family. She was an active member of the Legion of Mary for 50 years, and volunteered her time at nursing homes. She especially loved being a part of the St. Anne's family. Visitation at St. Anne's Chapel, 3800 North 92nd Street, Wednesday, July 22, 2009, 12:00 – 1:30 PM. Mass of Celebration at 1:30 PM. Private burial Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Masses given for Anna or memorials to St. Anne's appreciated. Special thank you to St. Anne's and Seasons Hospice for their love and care.
