Anand Vithal Nayak

November 3, 1952 – April 28, 2023

We are sad to announce the passing of Anand V. Nayak, “Andrew Newman,” of West Allis, Wisconsin. He died at the age of 70 on April 28, 2023. Anand passed away surrounded by his loved ones after a battle with cancer.

Anand was born to Vithal and Bhaghirati Nayak on November 3, 1952. Born in Bombay, India, Anand moved to California when he was 21 and attended Nursing college. In December 1988, he married his beloved wife Padmini Kamath.

Anand loved spending time watching football games, and other sports. He also loved Padmini’s cooking, especially her south Indian cooking.
