Her my poem to my Dearest Aunt Alyce: It Isn't Easy Death isn't easy when it's one of your own. It's that step life takes in which you are not alone. Death separates the one we love and it takes them back to the one from up above. We're seldom prepared and times unaware but when it happens our fate meeting destiny can give us a gloomy despair. Death is a master thief, a thief without preference. It can happen anytime whether we are ready or not, death calls no one friend. The pain of what no longer remains is still the same, a void, never filled just tearstain. I have often thought it's the surprise of the demise or the despair I couldn't repair but it's nothing as personal as that, but simply fate with a due date. No sooner we are born we are doom to die. We can embrace it, deny it and maybe race to meet it but you cannot defeat it. The pain of not understanding is still the same; it still can drive you a bit insane. Well, if I had it my way, I would wish it away and save you the heartache of not knowing that dark day. In time, we come to know but it takes a while to overcome that blow. Now I hang my head with a heart that is heavy and ask God to stand by you and make you ready. Life isn't easy or fair but love and hope always cares. May God bless you during this difficult time!

My Aunt Alyce will be forever missed. She was always full of life and laughter. Our phone calls were always so special to me, to have my Mom’s sister to talk with. Sharing so many wonderful memories and stories thru out the years. I feel very fortunate to have had her in my life all these many years! Her wisdom and kindness will be with me forever. Now she is with her beloved Eddie! God bless and Rest In Peace. Love, Mary Krieger
