Alwin H. Schowalter “Al”

Age 94, of New Berlin, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. Born in Jackson, WI, he is preceded in death by his wife; Virginia (nee Wegner); his parents, Alwin and Freida (nee Dotter), and his brothers, Wilbert, Delbert, and Harold. Alwin is survived by son Richard (Beth) Schowalter and daughter Carol (Bill) Burnham; grandsons David (Danielle) Schowalter and Adam (Jenna) Schowalter; great-granddaughter Abigail, and brother Quintin. Also loved by other relatives and friends.

Alwin worked at Rexnord for 45 years and a member of Hoeppner-Horn Bros. VFW 5716, was active in the creation of New Berlin Parks and Recreation Commission, and a member of the Wisconsin Woodturners Association.
