A devoted father, father-in-law, and grandfather. Allan is survived by his wife, Mary and by children, Ann-Marie (Sean) Durbin and David Sorensen as well as grandson, Jack Durbin. He is further survived by many good friends from Country Club drive and Regency Senior Living Community.
Allan was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Arthur, Clyde, and Kenneth, and sister-in-law, Mary.
Allan served in the Air National Guard Reserves of the United States Air Force for five years. In 1961, he became a real estate salesman and broker and embarked on a long career of selling new construction and existing real estate. Allan met Mary, the “love of his life” while in college, and they were married for 60 years, 1963- 2023. They enjoyed many family gatherings each summer on Sanibel Island, traveled extensively, and had a wonderful life together.
