Robert “Bob” Eickhoff

Robert “Bob” Eickhoff – Found peace on October 11th, 2026, at the age of 85 years old. He will be remembered and dearly missed by his beloved wife of 59 years, Catherine Eickhoff (Mayer);his brother Scott (Sarah) Eickhoff; sister Marsha (Mark) Voegeli; and loving children; Cynthia (lan) Dow; Robert Eickhoff (Michelle Hamilton); and Michelle (Brian) Jakle; grandchildren, Ryan (Amanda), Taylor, Brady, Sara, Liam, Brett, and Erin; great-grandchildren; Kennedy, Blakelyn, Lydia and Callum. Bob was preceded in death by their angel twins and his parents Robert and Margaret Eickhoff.

Bob served proudly in the National Guard, loved following politics and keeping up with current affairs. After 41 years of employment Bob retired from the Milwaukee Journal in 2000.

He enjoyed traveling- especially cruising, with his wife, annual fishing trips to Hayward, weekly card games and driving his Corvette. He remained an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewers fan.

Funeral services will be held at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 16000 West National Avenue New Berlin, Wisconsin 53151 on Tuesday November 3, 2026. Visitation is from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM with Funeral Mass to follow at 11:30 AM.
