Susan Foulston

Susan Marie Foulston (née Flegl), age 90, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 24, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Susan is now reunited with her beloved husband, Bob, the love of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Susan (Klein) Flegl  and her brother, Robert “Bob” Flegl.

Susan is lovingly survived by her children, Scott (Lisa), Linda Moffatt, Susan (Tedd) Meredith, and Robert (Courtney). She leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her family, including her grandchildren Betty, Curtis, Stephanie(Dustin), Kirk, Chad (Stephanie), Lauren, Shelby, Sydney, Carley (Christian), and Corey” and 15 great grandchildren, all of who brought her immeasurable joy.

​Susan lived a life defined by warmth, deep love, and a remarkable eye for beauty. As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, her strength and affection were the foundation of her family, creating a home filled with joy, creativity, and everlasting memories.

As a professional florist, Susan possessed a rare talent for capturing nature’s beauty and turning it into art. Flowers were her passion, and through her arrangements, she brought comfort, celebration, and brightness to countless lives. Her creative spirit extended far beyond floral design—she had a deep love for crafts of all kinds, always bringing thoughtful, hand-crafted beauty into the lives of those she loved.

To Susan, cooking and baking were expressions of pure love. Her kitchen was the welcoming heart of the home, always filled with delicious aromas and open arms. Whether preparing a comforting family meal or baking sweet treats for her children and grandchildren, she poured her whole heart into everything she made. No one ever left Susan’s table without feeling nourished in both body and spirit.

Susan carried a vibrant energy and a true zest for life. She found freedom and simple joy in taking the top down on her Mustang convertible, enjoying the open road and the fresh air. As the matriarch of her family, Susan’s strength, kindness, creativity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

She will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM. Funeral Service 12:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin 53151. Procession to follow to Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
