Tom T. Taubel – Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on May 20, 2026, age 90.

Survived by his loving best friend, Joyce (nee Wolk) for 66 years. Loving dad of Karen (Ben) Radeck and Carl (Kristin) Taubel. Proud grandpa of Matt (Becky) Radeck, Tim (Brooke) Radeck, Claire Louise Taubel and Camille Adell Taubel. Great grandpa of Stryder Radeck. Admired brother of Cathy (the late Glenn) Davis, John (Judy) Taubel, Sue Taubel, Andy (the late Rose) Taubel, Steve (Brenda) Taubel, Bill (Beth) Taubel, Dan (Sue) Taubel and Sue (the late Larry) Taubel.

Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Ruth Taubel, siblings, Darrell (Corlass) Taubel and Evy (Bud) Ashman. Bonus father of Bruce and Brenda Rauth. Further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He had a full life from the Marine Corps to UWM to wood carvings, spending time with his brothers and sisters, raising two beautiful children and his greatest pleasure, supporting and guiding his grandkids. The neighborhood could always count on him walking Sarge at 4:00 PM everyday.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM, followed by service at 1:00 PM. Interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 3:00 PM.

Thank you for everything Grandpa, the memories and stories you shared will forever with me. ❤️

Thank you for all you had done for me in life, your kindness will never be forgotten. I’ll always remember your great wood carvings, hiding the pickle in the Christmas tree, your laugh and your smile. Love and miss you Grandpa, Semper fi ❤️

Tom was a few years older than me and leaves me with a great many wonderful memories. Frequent phone calls kept us in touch. He was the artist in the family and I treasure the wonderful pieces he made for me. He certainly will be missed. My love, thoughts and prayers

Tom was a great big brother! He had many talents and was good at all of them. He did everything from glass blowing to chainsaw carving. I cherish all the pieces he gave me. Tom was so very interesting to talk to! He had so many great stores to tell you could listen to him for hours. I will miss my big brother Tom very much! My prayers and love are with you Joyce, Karen and Carl and the rest of the family, there was no one like Tom!

What a great & complete life you have lived. Joyce & you made the perfect couple. All of us siblings were glad to have shared in small ways with your life. Thanks so much for just being you. Love you always.

Sending prayers for comfort and peace to all who loved this dear man. I will forever be grateful, as without him I wouldn't have my oldest, bestest friend. I will always remember the twinkle in his eye, the open door of welcome his family always had for his kids' friends, the endless stories that always had laughter in them. Grateful for so many years of friendship.

Though our time together was short, I am grateful to have met you. You will be missed dearly.

For the man that made me who I am today. I will miss you.
