It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we celebrate the life of Cynthia de Werff whose compassion, strength, and vibrant spirit touched countless lives. As a retired dedicated NICU nurse, she spent her career caring for the tiniest and most fragile patients, offering comfort, hope, and healing to families during some of their most difficult moments.
She lived life with color and joy, surrounding herself with vibrant hues that reflected her bright personality and warm heart. She had a passion for traveling the world, embracing every adventure with curiosity and excitement, always collecting memories and stories to share with those she loved.
Above all else, her family was her greatest priority and deepest joy. She gave endlessly of herself, always putting her loved ones first and creating a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.
She is survived by her children Christina (Chad) Selode, Shaun de Werff, Michele (James) Stamper and Cassandra (David) Zisky. Her grandchildren Blake, Emma, Gavin, Jayden, Liam and Wren. Her sister Marilyn Kluge (Scott). She was preceded in death by her parents James and Ellaverne Leigh.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin will be held from 4:30 PM – 6:45 PM. Funeral Service at 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
