Passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 99. Born February 6, 1926.

Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Wachs and her daughter, Judith Drees. Parents, Jerry and Alma Stauss. Sisters, Florence, Carol, Doris, Lilah, Laura and Margaret. Loving mother of Arthur (Susan) Wachs, Jr., Marjorie Wachs, the late Judith (Jack) Drees, Jerry (Kimberly) Wachs and Sandra (David) Edgar. Grandmother of Arthur (Kay) Wachs III, Kimberly Kearley, Donald Kossow, Jr., John Theodore Drees, Scott (Carey) Drees, Charles Edgar and Grady Wachs. Great grandmother of Andrew Wachs, Nathan (Samantha) Wachs, Sydney Wachs, Cameron Drees and Cooper Drees.

Ida was a long-time member of Lincoln Park Lutheran Church and resided at Luther Manor for many years.

Visitation at Luther Manor Faith & Education Building Chapel, 4545 North 92nd Street, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, on Friday, February 6, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Service to begin at 1:00 PM. Burial at Valhalla Memorial Park.
