Joseph “Joe” Lorincz

Passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, age 80, after a 3 ½ year illness.

Joe is survived by his former wife and loving companion, Gail Lorincz, and his sons, Mark and David. Joe is also survived by his brother Pete, sister-in-law, Judy (special friend Fred). Joe is further survived by nieces, nephews, friends and wonderful neighbors. He is preceded in death by his brother, George.

Joe loved the outdoors, hiking in the woods, hunting, fishing and bicycling. He was an amazing photographer and amateur artist. Joe was an avid DIY’er, he found great satisfaction in many carpentry projects. He built his own house in the woods, “Up North.” He hunted in Northeastern Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan. He loved nature and traveled to many states. Joe was a runner and participated in many different runs and even marathons. He enjoyed gardening and growing tomatoes in straw bales. He was a self-reliant, well-rounded and common-sense person.

Per Joe’s wishes, there will be no services held.
