Donnie Ray Patton

Passed away November 21, 2025, peacefully in his sleep at the age of 60.

Husband to his cherished wife, Carol, and father to his beloved children, Nathan and Alyssa. Brother to Verdel and Eddie; son to his mother, Mary, and late father, Eddie; and close nephew to his auntie Sammy. He leaves on this earth a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. He joins in the afterlife his father, mother-in-law, Mary, and nephew, Emanuel.

Born in Mississippi on April 7, 1965, and raised in Milwaukee, where he gathered a large circle of friends. He attended Milwaukee Tech High School (Class of ’83), where he wrestled, played football and was on the chess team. After high school, Donnie studied architectural and mechanical engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

When he wasn’t with his family or on one of his many fishing adventures, you could find Donnie buying, selling, repairing and customizing cars. He also ran his own pager company and engaged in other business ventures with his friends.

We love you now and forever, and you will be in our thoughts until we meet again.

GANDALF: End? No, the journey doesn’t end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take.

The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.

PIPPIN: What? Gandalf? See what?

GANDALF: White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.

Visitation to be held 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with service at 1:00 PM, on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Followed by a repast until 3:00 PM.
