Edward and JoAnn Klotzbuecher

Edward D. Klotzbuecher and JoAnn M. Klotzbuecher of Milwaukee, joined together now eternally as beloved husband and wife; Edward passing on February 13, 2024, at age 93; JoAnn passing on March 15, 2024, at age 94. Cherished parents of Steven, Thomas, and Kathleen. Grandparents of Heidi, Drake, Nathan, and Lauren. Loved by many other family and friends.

Both Edward and JoAnn were born in Waterloo, WI. Edward, May 15, 1930. JoAnn, Oct 10, 1929. They both attended Waterloo grade school and High school at the same time. Edward went into the Air Force and reconnected with JoAnn upon returning to Waterloo. They married on Valentine’s Day in (1952) and moved to Milwaukee to raise their family. They were an active part of their community, and their church, Christ King. While being busy parents to their three children and grandparents to their grandchildren, also made many friends wherever they went. Edward and JoAnn were well known around Milwaukee at their frequented grocers, banks, barber, and hairdresser. They loved cooking together, gardening, doing crosswords and puzzles. They spent many memorable summers with family and friends in Northern Wisconsin and passed on the love of this area to their family who continue the tradition.

Edward joined First Wisconsin (now US Bank) bank and stayed there his entire career, retiring as a Vice-President of Trust. Through the years, JoAnn worked as a hairdresser, Firststar Bank (now US Bank) and the Christ King administration office.

Even with their busy schedules, they always made sure they made time for their family and friends.

They were married for 71 years. They are together again.

A Celebration of Their Lives and a Mass will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Guardian Angels Chapel, St. Camillus, 10100 West Bluemound Avenue, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Lunch will be served afterward.
