Donald (“Don”) Kenneth Thomas

April 21, 1967 – April 1, 2024

Gone from us too soon but finally at peace, Don died on April 1, 2024 at the age of 56.

Loving husband to Cindy (nee Broderick) for 20 years. Cherished brother to Paul (Suzanne) Thomas. Beloved brother-in-law to Sandra (David) Steffes, Tim (Sandy) Broderick. Cherished uncle to Zach Thomas and Nate Thomas, Matthew (Kaitlyn) Broderick, Megan (Phil) Stolt, Michael (Kim Skrobarcek) Broderick, Becca (Patrick) McVey. Adored son-in-law of Jack and LaVonne Broderick. Great uncle to Zaden, Emslie, Skyla, and Alice. Loving “Papa” to Piper.

Don is reunited in heaven with his parents John and Sandra (nee Christ) Thomas.

Don had many interests including family history & heritage, classic cars, movies, music, science fiction and fantasy, cigars, drawing, writing, collecting, and visiting with family and friends over meals. Weekend getaways and discovering new supper clubs with Cindy, and a cairn of good scotch and a cigar with friends were particular favorites. When he found a new hobby he researched and immersed himself to appreciate all it had to offer.

Don was always quick with a joke and a helping hand. He was kind, giving, laid back, always thought of others first and provided the most considerate advice. He was extremely generous with his time, his knowledge, and cared deeply for those he loved.

You will always be loved, remembered and missed. LAMY forever, Babe!

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM-11:45 AM at Krause Funeral Home,  21600 West Capital Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on May 11, 2024, with a Service at 12:00 PM.

Don will be interred at Woodlawn cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
