Passed away peacefully on January 25, 2024 at the age of 80. Loving sister to Tim, Debbie, and Barb. Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by beloved parents William and Margaret and cherished sister to Bill.

Although born with Cerebral Palsy and living her life in a wheelchair from birth, Kathy loved life and always had a positive attitude. She loved spending time with her family and as the second oldest child she always kept her eye on her younger brother and sisters to make sure they were behaving. She loved to watch her favorite TV station, MTV, so she could watch her favorite western and detective shows. Through most of her life, Kathy was an undeniable example of dealing with adversity. She took the simple joys of life, that she could grab hold of, and wove them into her life to keep herself smiling……. Loving her friends always brought her joy, Loving her music intensely brought her joy. Watching her TV shows, over and over, brought her joy. Just having a piece of cake brought her joy. Her many stuffed animals brought her joy. There were many care givers who brought her joy. And most of all, her family brought her joy.

It was all about the Simple Things with Kathy that made her smile.

We will always remember her beautiful smile and her beautiful example of Simple Joys and weave them into our lives.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral talk from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Burial to take place at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, 3801 South 6th Street, Milwaukee, on February 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
