Ronald James Kroll passed away and was born into everlasting life on November 25, 2023.
Ronald (Ron) was born on October 22, 1943, to Harry and Hazel Kroll in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a proud Marine Corps. veteran who loved his country and bravely served in the Vietnam war. He was the founder of St. Joseph’s Tool Chest which has blessed many less fortunate individuals and families with wood working tools that he dedicated his time to refurbishing. He was a faithful servant of God who spent his life sharing God’s Word with his children and teaching them the graces of our Catholic faith through both words and actions. He was a hard working man who taught his children the value of hard work and family.
Ron is survived by his wife Linda, brother Jerry Kroll, sister Michelle Strode (who he raised alongside his children after their parents passed), nine children, and 38 grandchildren: Nick [Sandy] Kroll (Alex, Anna, Lauren, Erin), Kristine [Ty] Roznowski (Ty Jr, Sam, Ava, Emily), Michael [Ann] Kroll (Rose, Caleb, Jonah, Gabby, Miranda), Amy [Keith] Rasimus (Nick, Nathan, Jacob, Isabelle), Katie [TJ] Goedheer (AJ, Ben, Adi, Matthew), Suzanne [Bryan] Sherman (Daniel, Monica, Rebecca, Patrick), Tony [Gina] Kroll (Vinny, Jake, Sophia), Billy [Angie] Kroll (Lincoln, Mae, Maggie, Oliver), Mary [Steve] Weber (Chloe, Ella, Johnny), and grandchildren Josh, Samantha, and Phillip (children of Michelle Strode).
Ron battled health issues for many years but despite the challenges he faced he never lost his sense of humor. Throughout his entire journey he shared his humor and wit with his family, friends, and healthcare workers. His grandchildren loved spending time with their Papa and will truly miss him. Ron will live on in the heart’s of all who loved him and will be missed every single day.
Eternal rest, grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
Visitation will take place on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church in Hartland, Wisconsin. Mass will follow at 12:30 PM. A reception will be held immediately after the mass.
