Florence Greve-Barczak

Florence Greve-Barczak (nee Scherer) passed into Eternal Life on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the age of 95.

Beloved mother of Susan Greve and the late Tom Greve. Loving stepmother of Gregory Barczak, Gary (Annette) Barczak and daughter-in-law Mary Jane Barczak and Sue Kulvich. Further survived by several step-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husbands Donald G. Greve and Steve Barczak; stepson Russell Barczak; siblings John (the late Margaret) Scherer, Joseph (the late Helen) Scherer, Katharine (Ray) Hagen, Loretta (Leo) Beres, Fred (Emma) Scherer, Charles (Margaret) Scherer, Christine (Lester) Orton, and Louise (Henry) Kau.
Florence worked for the City of New Berlin for 25 years, 6 years as deputy city clerk. She enjoyed many years of retirement, going up north to Wild Rose, Wisconsin with her husband, Steve. She enjoyed extensive traveling, including a trip to Europe and many cruises.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 18th at 10:00 AM at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 16000 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM and interment at Holy Apostles Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to the Benedictine Monks or the Sacred Heart League.
