WC Holloway born June 25, 1943, in Rayville, Louisiana, entered eternal life on May 23, 2023.
You could always count on WC for a story or random pearl of wisdom. His larger-than-life personality was equally matched by his generosity of his heart and spirit, which was a direct result of his love and deep faith in Christ. WC was genuinely committed to his family and provided fatherly support and guidance to many in his community. WC served as a shining example of how to be a family man and modeled a strong work ethic through his work as an accountant with Milwaukee Public Schools.
WC loved to play cribbage, watch sports, listen to music, and showcase his remarkable, sharp memory in telling stories from yesteryear. WC certainly made a lasting impression on those around him. He truly was one of a kind.
WC was preceded in death by his mother Florene Holloway (née Martin) father MC Holloway, sister Shirley Jackson, (née Holloway) grandson Joseph Payne Jr, and last but not least- his best friend and love of his life Della Holloway whom he shared 55 years of marriage with.
WC and Della’s legacy of faith, love, and togetherness will be carried on for generations to come through their eight children: Sherlene, Sharon, Shawn, Wylbur (Deanna) Shara, Wyllyam (Kia), Wauryce, and Sheila, and seven grandchildren: Niesha, Ivory, Jazmyn, Nia, Imani, Wyllyam Jr, and Ava.
The family has chosen to celebrate WC’s life privately at this time.
