Mr. John Petcoff

Passed away on June 9, 2022 after a brief illness at age 94. His was reunited with his life-long partner of 68 years Geraldine “Gerry” Czajkowski and his brother Crist Petcoff. He is survived by his sister Ann (the late Al) Anderson, sister-in-law Charlotte Petcoff. His nieces and nephews, Linda (Rod) Gehrig, Michael (Barbara) Petcoff, Carol Petcoff (Frank Furdek), Beth (Ron) Fisher, and Boyd Anderson (Shannon Holman). Gerry’s nieces and nephews, Dale (Jill) Czajkowski, Sharon Czajkowski, Gary (Margaret) Czajkowski, Lynn (Carl) White, Amy Simmons, Jayne Czajkowski, and the late Karen Jansen. Also survived by great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces, and nephews. Dear friend of Jim Cull, Dave Rosenwald, Marc Wojcik, and many others.

John was born in Wakefield, MI. He attended high school in Bessemer, MI where he played football. After serving in the US Army in Europe during the Korean Conflict, he moved to Milwaukee where he began several successful businesses.
He enjoyed watching the Packers and Badgers, and having Sunday dinners with his brother and his family. He also enjoyed fishing and returning to the UP for his high school reunion every summer.

Visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 21 at 11am. Funeral Service at 12PM. Burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight.
