Infant Amari Quevon Edwards, 5 months, passed away Saturday , February 12th, 2022 at Children’s Hospital Of Wisconsin, with his mommy and daddy by his side.
Baby Amari was born September 2nd, 2021 at ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital to Damien Edwards and Elaina Lancour of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Amari was perfect, from his big blue eyes that sparkled when he smiled, to his beautiful, bright, big smile that was instantaneously contagious. Amari’s arrival made Damien and Elainas’ lives complete. Amari’s big sister, Ameliahna, absolutely loved her brother. She protected him, kissed him and played with him. They instantly clicked. Their family was perfect. Damien and Elaina constantly doted over him, showered him with love, and shared him for all their loved ones to adore.
In addition to Amari’s parents, he is survived by big sister, Ameliahna Edwards; paternal grandparents Shatavia Jefferson, Eldrick Edwards and friend Keandra; maternal grandparents Harold and Sara Lancour, Lisa Anttila and friend Dale Sommers; paternal great-grandparents Rosemary and Rico Alvarez, Brenda Smith and George Holt; maternal great-grandparents Richard and Anna Ruth Heribacka, Edward and Eileen Anttila, Dorthy Lancour, Darcy and Brad Storey; paternal aunts and uncles Cameron, Davon, Tyreek, Erica, Keondre, Jazzmin, Jada and Janelle; maternal aunts and uncles Luke, Erika, Cleo, Valerie, Jonathan, Marcus, Dominic and Adeline. Amari is also loved by a host of family and friends. Preceded in death by Uncle Matthew Heribacka and great-grandfather Harvey Lancour and great-grandmother Nonie Ables.
The joy Amari brought to all our lives cannot be described in words, but is certainly felt in all of our hearts.
