Annette Kerner lived a life full of humor, laughter, and silliness. She spent her days teasing the friends in her life at St. Coletta’s and by loving her family around the country. On August 27th, 2021, Annette passed away in her sleep at the young age of 55.
Annette is survived by her parents William and Mary Kerner; sisters Carmela (James) Milkie, Stephanie (Paul) Meyer, and her brother James (Lily) Kerner. Annette was also a loving aunt to Angela (Jay) Stokes, Natalie Milkie, Ivan Lugo, Anna Kerner, April Meyer, Brianne Meyer, and Kenneth Kerner.
After a full life of being involved in various work programs at St. Coletta’s, Annette decided to retire herself at the age of 45. Since then, she has involved herself in numerous programs to occupy her time and to keep herself busy.
The Kerner family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff and nursing coordinators at St. Coletta’s. Throughout all of the year’s that Annette has called St. Coletta’s her home away from home, they have been overwhelmingly supportive and loving to Annette.
In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated in Annette’s name to St. Colleta’s in Jefferson, WI.
