Donald “Don” Charles Miller passed peacefully into his eternal home with his Lord, Jesus, on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the age of 79. Loving husband of Lynne (nee Dudek) for almost 53 years. Dear Lynne and girls ,
What a time of mixed emotions! Saddened for your loss yet rejoicing Don is whole again and with his Lord and Savior. Thankful Lynne, that you and Don moved back to this area and made some very special memories with your family! We are thankful that we connected again. Both of us have known Don and you since our teenage years. Lots and lots of good memories. Our prayer is that you all feel God's love and our love for you. Whether it was from the Blackhawk Choir Baritone section or from behind his trombone every Easter, Don's cheerful participation in the worshipping church was a constant joy to me and to everyone who got to worship with him. This is such a loss. I carry you in my heart, Lynne, and wish you peace and the comfort that only Jesus can bring in the days ahead. Don is experiencing fullness of joy. Glory!

Dear Lynne & Family,
What a gift Don was to our family and business. Don was family. Whether he was sharing crullers (better on your hips than mine), sharing pictures of his grandchildren as his favorite screen saver , or sharing his wisdom (Donism’s), he always brought a smile to our office. He was a man of faith and integrity and extended generosity and kindness. This was evident in how he treated customers, co-workers and members of their families. Don would melt when children or pets visited the office - he was such a softie! After his retirement, we would look forward to his visits to catch up with “The Boss” and give Cider his treats. We count those days, from 3/17/03 to his retirement on 6/11/12 as a God-directed blessing from a man who lived close to his Lord Jesus.

Sunshine and I are praying for you and your great loss. We have many incredible memories of Don. He was such a great man with an incredible sense of humor. Always wanted to make the person he was talking to feel better about whatever it was that they were talking about. His acting ability for family fusion was a hidden talent.
