Resting in the arms of his Savior Tuesday, July 8, 2008, age 75. Cherished husband of Judy (nee Koch) for 30 years. Devoted father to the heirs of his strength of body and spirit, Jeana (fianc Nick Wagner) Hutto, Amy (Jason) Koenig, Brian Connelly, Debi (Dave) Schneidewind, Dani (Joe) Krzyzaniak, Dean (Karyn) Hutto, Dori Manske and Dodi (Jerry) Ochs. Loving brother of Marianne Gosnell, Dennis (Bev), David Hutto and Susie Ressel, Lynn (Keith) Nehring, Al (Lori), Jeff (Prudy) and Jeri Hutto. Brother-in-law of Carl (Janet), Dick (Marlene) and George (Pat) Koch, Hope and Helen Hutto. Preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence and Ronnie. Grandpa "Papa" to 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home Friday, July 11, 4-8PM. Retired from the West Allis Fire Department after 33 years of service as a firefighter E.O. Proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He loved cooking, polka music, traveling and repairing TV's and other electronics. Gene was also an avid armchair Packer coach. Deepest thanks and sincere gratitude to the many doctors, nurses and medical professionals who provided loving care and support over the years. Special thanks to Commonwealth Dialysis Center.
