Herman graduated from Marquette University with a BS degree in Engineering, in 1947. During WWII, Herman served honorably with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific. He started his career with the Wisconsin Telephone Co., in 1947. He worked there 35 years, including 2 years at Bell Laboratory in Murray Hill, NJ.He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Mary Louise; his 4 daughters, Mary Beth, Laura, Diane and Jill, and their spouses; and his 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jane.A Gathering will be held Wednesday, December 2, from 12:30 – 5:30 PM, at the Krause Funeral, 9000 W. Capitol Dr., Milwaukee, WI. Vigil Service 4PM. The Memorial Mass will be the following day, Thursday, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1755 N. Calhoun Rd., Brookfield, at 10AM.
