(Nee Bischoff) Age 80. Entered into Eternal Life Sunday, June 6, 2010, after a 3 and a half year struggle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Dearest mother of Julie (Rick) Draeving, Sue (Curt) Krueger, Steve (Polly) Barker, Kerry (Angela Anderson) Barker, Bliss Ylonen and Haya Assad. Special "mom" to Linda, Terri, Hana and Alan. Proud grandma of Joshua (Corine), Zachary (Jenny) Krueger, Emily (Steve) Pratt, Matthew Barker, Samantha (Bobby) Williams and Jazmine Ramos. Great-grandma of Macey, Riley and Brooklyn. Corinne was a foster mom to many kids over a 40 year period. Also loved by other relatives and friends. Memorial Gathering at the Funeral Home Saturday, June 12, 9-11:45 AM. Memorial Service 12 noon. Private entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Corinne had a zest for life that was unequaled. She touched everyone she knew with her boundless energy, positive outlook on life and her warm, giving nature. Her faith was very important to her and she lived her life accordingly. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an excellent cook, loved entertaining and decorating for the holidays. She enjoyed collecting recipes, traveling, the symphony and playing penny slot machines. She worked part-time at Alexian Village in various capacities for over 25 years and Hydrite Chemical for 28 years until her retirement only months ago. She thought of everyone at Hydrite as her second family and made many dear friends over the years. Always thinking of others before herself, she will be missed by everyone who knew her. A special thank you to the doctors and staff at St. Luke's who cared for mom. Memorials in mom's name can be made to the charity of your choice. "You taught us well, Mom, until we meet again "
