Born in to Eternal Life on November 12, 2014, age 90. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (nee Kilwinger) for 67 years. Loving father of the late Alfred (Bonnie) Eckl, Jr., Mary (Robert) Tischer, and Andrew (Katrina) Eckl. Proud grandfather of Benjamin, the late Zachary, Joshua (Jennifer), Seth (Bonnie), Jacob, Rachael, Jessica, and Stephanie. Great-grandfather of John, Jacob, Emily, Hannah, Devon, Alexandria, Calvin, Mya, Isabella, Cassandra, Adrianna, and Eli. Brother of Audrey Marshall, the late Rosemarie Foley, James (Beverly) Eckl, and Yvonne (Dennis) Burg. Brother-in-law of Shirley (Thomas) Filiput. Also loved by other relatives and friends.

Al was a proud WWII veteran of the US Army. He then worked for the Milwaukee County Transport Company for 40 years, retiring in 1989.

Visitation at ST. MARGARET MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 92nd Street and Capitol Drive, on Tuesday, November 18, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM. Entombment and Military Honors at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery to follow. Memorials appreciated to Juvenile Diabetes Association. A special thank you to the staff at Luther Manor and Luther Manor Hospice.
