Born into Eternal Life Friday, September 30, 2016 at the age of 89. Beloved husband and best friend of Dolores (nee Rambo). Brother of Lettie (the late Kenneth) Sartorelli, the late Gerald (the late Frances Ann), and the late Kathryn Whitaker. Uncle of Mary Ann, Theresa, Germaine, Rebecca, Christopher, and the late Joseph. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation at St. Catherine Catholic Church, 5101 West Center Street, on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. Rosary service at 10:45 AM, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow, at 11:00 AM. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery at 12:45 PM – please meet inside the Nash Street gates.

Charles was a member of the United Nations Association of the United States of America for 37 years, and tutored with Literacy Services of Wisconsin for 21 years. He was a longtime volunteer at the St. Catherine’s food pantry, enjoyed woodworking, nature hikes and birding, sitting down with a good book, vegetable gardening, square dancing, and relaxing with classical music.

Charles’ family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at St. Anne’s Salvatorian Campus, St. Joseph’s Hall, for their support and care.
