Passed away unexpectedly on December 4, 2016, at the age of 50. Best friend and husband of Sheri (nee Schieber), who have been together for 25 years. Son of Paul and Katherine Bur. He had a wonderful smile and would greet me every morning when he saw me. I loved running into him in the kitchen where we would strike up a delightful conversation and we would both end up laughing. I hope it brings you peace knowing that Brian brought a lot of joy to everyone that he worked with and encountered during the work day. He will be deeply missed on the 10th floor! My deepest condolences on your loss. I work at U.S. Bank, on a different team from Brian but on the same floor as he worked. Even though we did not work together he went out of his way to introduce himself and engage me in friendly conversation after I started. A great guy. A large organization like U.S. Bank can sometimes feel very anonymous but Brian made it feel like a friendlier, warmer place. He will be missed.
