Entered into eternal life Wednesday, December 14, 2016, age 89. Beloved son of the late Hugo & Edna Ripp. Dear brother to Joan (Lefty) Clark. Loving father to Tom (Sheryl), Ellen (Dan) and Peter. Amazing grandfather to Tom (Chieng) and Dan Angelo, Amanda (Drew) Sobczak, and wonderful uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bob was devoted to many family and friends.

Life celebration at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 18255 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI, on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM. Mass at 11:00 AM. Uplifting luncheon to follow at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, WI.

Bob served in the Navy in WWII, and went onto a long career in real estate and investments.

Bob, my cousin,fostered "gemulichheit" (togetherness, belonging, fun). Combining Irish wit and charm with German energy and organization, this true elder of the Ripp clan gathered us so many times: lake, pool, ski, sailing outings; ethnic feats, music concerts, birthday bashes. His hospitality to Jan and Pavel, the Czech guys to whom he will always be "Captain Bob," typified his expansive nature. Will always miss you, Bob.
