Nancy Scripko left a message on December 20, 2016:
Bob, my cousin, fostered "gemulichheit" (togetherness, belonging, fun). Combining Irish wit and charm with German energy and organization, this true elder of the Ripp clan gathered us so many times: lake, pool, ski, sailing outings; ethnic feats, music concerts, birthday bashes. His hospitality to Jan and Pavel, the Czech guys to whom he will always be "Captain Bob," typified his expansive nature. Will always miss you, Bob.
Chanell left a message on December 17, 2016:
I noticed your loved one’s obituary, and I want to send you and your family my condolences. I have loss loved ones myself and I have found comfort in God’s promise of doing away with death at Isaiah 25:8 which states, “He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, For Jehovah himself has spoken it.” It is my hope that this promise brings you comfort too. As you look forward to seeing death no more and your loved one again in the near future as the bible promises. For more information on the hope and promises that God will bring about, please visit www.jw.org. Sincerely, Chanell
