Beloved wife of the late Herbert Kinner. Cherished mom of Kathy (David) Klika, Colleen (Mike) Harrington, and Craig Kinner. Much loved granny of Keri (Tim) Lore and Kevin Klika and great granny of Freddy and Julietta Lore. Loved sister of Janice Schlender and sister-in-law of Anita Kinner. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Elva and Vilas Finke, brother Richard Finke and many other relatives and friends with whom she is now joyfully reunited.
Elaine was a proud graduate of Nathan Hale High School, class of 1953 and was one of the original “party girls” along with her best friend since childhood, Barbara Froehlich. She was a life-long member of Mt. Hope Lutheran Church, West Allis where over the years she was active with the choir, Bible study, Sunday school, and many other ministries. She will be remembered for her thoughtful cards and notes, famous brownies that she brought to every gathering, and love of music and dancing.
We will be forever grateful to the kind and loving employees of Regency Senior Communities – New Berlin who filled her days with fun and challenging activities, joy, and loving care over the past eight months. She loved living at Regency! Thanks also to Dr. Roger Torres and his staff who helped Mom live a quality life and honored her wish to stay out of the hospital. Seasons Hospice helped ensure that Mom’s last days were peaceful and pain-free.
