June 10, 2018. Age 91. Beloved wife of the late J. Edward “Ed” Bottger. Loving mother of Barbara (the late Dave) Wisniewski, Virginia Matthews, and John E. (Wanda) Bottger, III. Proud grandmother of Heather (Adam), Sara, and David. Great-grandmother of Weston. Twin sister of Phyllis Latimer. Preceded in death by her brother Dr. Frank Nelson. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Barbara graduated from UW-Whitewater in 1949 with a Bachelor’s in Education and taught primarily in Greendale for many years. She was a longtime resident at Village at Manor Park.

If desired, memorials may be made in Barbara’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Private family services were held.
