Adam Michael Bausch

Adam Bausch, of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin passed away at home, March 17, 2018. He was born in Chicago, Illinois; November 13, 1925 to Martin and Theresa Bausch. He was 1 of 10 Children. Preceded in death by siblings Theresa, Kathryn, Anna, Mary, Elizabeth, Eva, Martin, Doris and Barbara. He married his high school sweetheart Cheryl Bartholomew in 1944. He was a devoted and self-sacrificing husband. He worked for International Harvester from 1940’s – 1980’s having lived in Chicago, Illinois; Green bay, Wisconsin; West Allis, Wisconsin; Livonia, Michigan; Naperville, Illinois; and Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. His dedication, wit, humor and generosity will be missed by family and friends. He was the best father, protector, provider and teacher of right and wrong.

He is survived by Cheryl Bausch, his wife of 73 years; his children: Christine (Ron) Betz, Michael Bausch, Cindy (Michael) Crawford, Kay (Bill) Malsch, Laura Fox and Rebecca Riedel; 18 grandkids: Peter (Leslie) Betz, Jennifer (Jerry) Oak, Matt and Natalie Bausch, Chris (Paula) Crawford, Rachael (Phil) DeCanio, Sarah (Steve) Kowalczyk, Jessy (Mike) Lettiere and Katie (Drew) McCoy, Jackie (Adam Beardsley) Malsch and Amy (Ryan) Mannes, Sean, Kelly, Keri and Ryan Fox; Christopher, Daniel and Nicole Riedel. Also 12 great grandkids.

Visitation will be April 21, 2018 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM with funeral mass following at 11:00 AM at Christ King Catholic Parish. 2604 North Swan Boulevard, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, 53226.
