Francisco (Frank) Jimenez, 81, found peace on Monday, October 19, 2020. Loving husband of Mary Jimenez for 62 years. Devoted father of Elaine (Angel), Jeff, and Jacki (Mike). Adored grandfather of Jennifer (Nathan), Jimmy, Jeffrey, and Jacob. Brother of Margaret Rodriguez, Amelia Wardman, Tina Jimenez, and Luis Jimenez. Proceeded in death by his parents, Luis, Rosario and Esperanza Jimenez along with sisters Dolores Pena and Lucina Martinez. Further survived by other family members and friends.
Francisco loved his family, going to their cabin and going on vacations. He would tip his hat to his wife while riding his ATV and tractors. He treasured going hunting over the years with his boys and was especially happy when his grandson, Jeffrey, joined the tradition.
You could find Francisco and his grandkids sitting together outside and having long conversations about life. He always had multiple projects going on and about 10 more in his head he wanted to do. Finding ideas and his treasures at flea markets and antique markets was a favorite hobby of his, He enjoyed a cold beer at the end of the day (or sometimes at lunchtime) with Mary.
He really started to love vacations and especially going to Arizona to visit his granddaughter, Jennifer.
You would find The Duke items throughout their home and usually wearing a shirt or hat with him and told you to “Salute the Duke”. Francisco could make friends so easily and he enjoyed going to the tavern and talking with people.
Finally, one thing he told all of us to remember: “Family is most important”.
Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 3:00 PM – 5:45 PM. Celebration of life at 6:00 PM.
