Margaret passed away in the early evening of March 15, 2021, at St. Camillus Care Facility. She was born on March 25, 1930, to Frank and Anna Leahy, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Her husband, John Guenther, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister Janet Leahy, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Margaret attended St. Clement Elementary school, graduated from Central High and from Sheboygan County Teachers’ College. Her teaching career began in rural schools in the Sheboygan area. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, graduated from UW-Milwaukee and taught in the West Allis School System till retirement. Margaret volunteered at her church and at West Allis Memorial Hospital after retiring, She and and John lived in New Berlin, Wisconsin and were members of Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
Margaret golfed, biked, hiked, skied, loved the theater, the symphony, and loved to travel. She enjoyed her Irish heritage and trips to Ireland. Margaret and John spent winters in Tucson at the Far Horizons Community. They both enjoyed the culture and beauty of the southwest and made many friends in their Tucson Community.
Margaret needed care the past four years, we would like to thank caregivers from Home Instead, caregivers at The Regency, and at St Camillus. We thank friends and family for their visits and kindness during this time.

She will be buried in Calvary Cemetery in Sheboygan on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Those who wish to attend the burial are welcome.
