Kristine A. (Kau) McIntosh was born on January 31st, 1951, and passed away suddenly and peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, May 25th, 2021, at the very young age of 70. She was the loving wife of Michael McIntosh (31 years). They were married on December 27th, 1990, in Waukesha, WI. Kris was the mother to 2 sons, Brett and Jason (Susan) Weber. She was the stepmother to 2 sons as well, Christopher (Deann) and Matthew (Chrissy) McIntosh. Her pride and joy were her 7 grandchildren, Travis and Nicole Weber; Delaney, Reagan, and Ethan McIntosh; and Rosemary and Emily McIntosh. She is also survived by her sister Katie (Ron) Hornik. She was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, great friend to many, daughter, and daughter in law to Jim (94) and Rosemary McIntosh who preceded her in death.
Kris was born on January 31st, 1951, to John and Geraldine Kau in Milwaukee, who preceded her in death. She went to Pius XI High School, graduating in 1969. She then attended and graduated from MATC to start her long career in banking. After her banking career, she worked in accounting in various shipping and manufacturing settings. She finally fully retired on January 1st, 2019. She worked hard her whole career to provide for her family. After raising her family in Pewaukee, she and Mike moved to Mukwonago to live on Eagle Springs Lake. They spent 10 years loving the lake life, then moving to East Troy for another 8 years. Kris and Mike built their dream cabin in Crivitz, WI starting in 2003. They spent many weekends enjoying the relaxing life at their cabin adding in hunting, 4 wheel riding, casino trips, fishing, and visits from family and friends. After several additions to their cabin, Kris and Mike retired to Crivitz in 2019.
Kris loved spending every minute she could with her family. She and Mike did many trips with their grandchildren throughout the years, trips with her sister, vacations with her kids, and so many friend visits. She was always smiling and helping others before she did anything for herself. Her smile and love of life lit up every room she walked in, making everyone around her as happy as she was. She was a great Wife, Mother, Step-Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. She will be missed so much by everyone in her life. Her family will carry on her legacy to every extent, bringing joy and happiness in her name to everyone in their lives. Our love for her will never fade and will be in our hearts forever.
